This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but growing London-based Medical Malpractice Claims team in London. We are seeking a hard-working, and highly motivated individual who l will work closely with our Claims and Underwriting teams . This role will support the insurance being written across Europe with a present focus on UK, US, Irish, French and Swiss products, with future expansion into other territories.

This role will support the insurance being written across Europe with a present focus on UK, US, Irish, French and Swiss products, with future expansion into other territories.

Key responsibilities

* Opening and closing of claims on the system;
* Managing migration of claims entries to new system;
* Consolidation of bordereaux against existing claims information;
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and business partners on bordereaux queries;
* Processing of adjustment entries, claims payments and invoicing;
* Diary management for claims team;
* Administrative tasks to support the business, such as filing and data management;
* Providing claims support such as sending out initial emails on file opening, closing and chasing for documentation.
* Potential for training / development to manage claims

Key requirements

* Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a claims assistant/claims technician role in the insurance market.
* Experience managing claims bordeaux - desirable
* Exposure to international claims - desirable b
* Excellent attention to detail and collaborative nature
* Demonstrated analytical and data skills
* Ability to deal with pressure and to prioritise workloads

What is on offer

* Salary to £38,000 + benefits package
* City of London based office 3 days per week with 2 days per week working remotely
