Junior Placing Broker - with training

City of London & Remote hybrid working

Salary - £35,000 to £40,000 + benefits

An opportunity to join a growing and dynamic international Lloyds broking house headquatered in the City of London with branch offices around the world to give a truly global reach.

You will join the specialist Global Energy Team to support the placement of risks, develop market relationships and assist with client relationship management.



Business is on a direct & fac basis for oil, gas and renewables across downstream, mid-stream and upstream risks in various international territories.



* Assist in the preparation of MRC slips and market presentations
* Negotiate with insurers to secure favourable terms and develop strong market relationships
* Oversee the renewal process and tracking pipeline opportunities
* Provide support with existing clients to secure renewals and explore growth opportunities
* Liaise with clients to resolve queries, provide updates and offer guidance
* Enter and manage risks on PPL and/or whitespace
* Maintain various internal mapping and monitoring systems
* In general work with colleagues to provide a high level of satisfaction to clients and markets

What you need to bring ….

* Possess at least 18 months experience within the Lloyds London insurance market
* Possess an understanding of PPL or Whitespace
* A confident communicator
* Well organised and able to prioritise
* Attention to detail
* Problem solving
* Desire and ability to learn and apply new knowledge / skills.
