Our client, a thriving, friendly importer and seller of fresh produce, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team in Purfleet on a permanent basis. As Warehouse Operative, you will be working as part of a team to maintain the business performance targets. This role would best suits an upbeat and self-motivated individual, who enjoys working systematically and productively. You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as:

* Receiving incoming stock and materials, placing them into the correct area of the warehouse
* Taking, picking and sorting orders from stock
* Getting orders ready for deliveries
* Ensuring company procedures and policies are upheld at all times
* Ensuring the yard and warehouse are kept tidy at all times
* Loading of orders
* Work and communicate with other team members to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively

Due to the location of the office, you must have your own method of transport. There is free on-site car parking.

This is a full time, permanent role, working 40 hours, 5 days per week (Any 5 out of 7), however flexible working hours are essential as overtime will be required.
