We have an exciting opportunity for a Head chef who is hungry for success to join a well-established global hotel in the Southend area, who pride themselves in cooking all of their menus from fresh.
Working in a modern hotel who cater for their general customers serving of breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as doing room service, functions, events, and weddings.
As the Head Chef you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen within a busy environment, ensuring attention to detail with presentation of all food whether it is breakfast lunch or dinner.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
* Good quality presentation across the full menu
* Menu planning including costs and budget control
* Development of the team and ensuring they keep to the good standards required.
To be successful as the Head Chef it is essential that you have Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and have demonstrated success managing departmental budgets and leading from the top within a similar environment.
This is a full time permanent 45 hour position on a rota Monday to Sunday.
